...Except for the light and shading part: I needed some time to figure it out myself and I didn't want to bother anyone with my endless tentatives

A few days ago I was struck by the urge to draw Aang and Katara together, after such a long time... and here is the result! *__* I don't know why, but the Avatard inside me decided to wake up all of the sudden XD As a matter of fact, I'm watching the whole series once again! I'm about to meet Toph *.* And Aang and Katara are so darn CUTE! D'aww!
By the way, you know that I don't want anyone to start a shipping war, right? I just... go with the story, you know? The canon way. Any bashing comments will be flagged as spams.

So, speaking of the drawing! As I said before, this was done in a moment of great inspiration and I wanted the colours to be particularly appealing, since it seems to be much of a Kataang(st) here

I experimented a lot with different hues and complementary colours, and as I kept going on I got more and more disappointed and confused... eventually, I got this. I guess I just need much more practice with creating a dramatic atmosphere, but I still consider this artwork as a good exercise
